Welcome! I am Ashley Chin and I'm so glad that you're here today. Let me tell you more about me!

I am a motivated and diligent Information Technology student, currently studying at Oakland University. I am versed in multiple programming languages and technologies. I collaborate well with teams and am easily adaptable, excelling in effective communication, organization, and critical thinking. I am proficient in using programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript and Linux. I am skilled in developing web applications using HTML, CSS and different frameworks such as Tailwind, Bootstrap, JavaFX, React etc . I am actively pursuing summer 2024 internships to further enhance my experience and contribute to my professional growth in this field. Once I complete my undergraduate studies, I wish to further my studies in graduate school.

I am also a dedicated student-athlete on the Oakland University Women's Golf Team, playing in NCAA D1 sports, which makes it a challenge daily to balance both studies and my athlete duties. Yet, I think of myself as an organized and disciplined person. In my free time, I enjoy doing reading every sci-fi/fantasy book I can get my hands on, and arts, such as painting or scrapbooking. I also enjoy cooking various cuisines, such as Chinese, Japanese, Italian etc. I always make time for some family activities as I value family bonding very much, and I have a great bond with my family.
